Wafra Partners Announces Acquisition of Best Lighting Products Inc.

Wafra Partners and Wafra Investment Advisory Group, Inc. are pleased to announce that Best Lighting Products Inc. has been acquired by management and an entity formed by the clients of Wafra.

Best Lighting, based in Pataskala, OH, is a leading supplier of exit signs and emergency lighting products, and provides complete outsourcing of these product lines for the leading manufacturers in the lighting industry. Best Lighting provides high quality products to its customers at an attractive price with excellent service.

Best Lighting was founded in 1997 by Alvin and Jeffrey Katz. Alvin, Jeffrey and the rest of the management team will remain with the Company going forward.

Wafra is a middle market private equity group based in New York City. Wafra invests in companies with revenues of between $20 million and $150 million in a variety of industries, including consumer products, business services and niche manufacturing.
